We got started using the CADEN Edge sweeps 5 years ago to demo some out. We chose to place them in the wheel tracks to give them a good test. These sweeps lasted around 3 times as long as the sweeps we were using. Sweeps placed in non-wheel tracks lasted up to 5 times as long as non-treated ones. Buy with confidence.

Here’s our results with the 9” bolt on sweep-
TM200 54.5’ pulled by Cat MT865 on 30” tracks
870 acres of use
70% sandy clay loam soil
30% good black dirt
Running 6” deep at 6.5-7 mph
I pulled samples of the standard sweep from behind the track, 4’ outside the track, and the last one on the outer wing. The standard sweep on row 1 behind the track had been replaced, and this one has about 400 acres on it and is nearly worn out. Row two taken from 4’ off the track is completely smoked. The standard sweep from the out wing looks pretty decent as expected.
I pulled EW sweeps from row 2 behind the track, row 1 4’ off the track. Both of those show almost no wear. There is still grit from the hardening across the whole edge, and the hardened bump is still fully present. Every sweep on that half of the machine is that way.
These new sweeps are the real deal.
